GBNI are pleased to inform you that the Army has been able to confirm these three amazing opportunities for Girls’ Brigade members.  Age restrictions apply for safety reasons and cannot be adjusted.
 
The available options are as follows:

• An Army Summer Camp that will be held at Ballykinlar, Newcastle from 17th to 21st August 2024 for GB girls aged 14 – 18 years.  Please see the flyer attached.  Please note the date has been changed to accommodate GCSE results day.  The girls will need transport arranged and must bring their own towels, toiletries, and comfortable clothing/footwear for the evenings.  Army kits will be provided to all participants including boots and all meals will be provided free of charge.  Only 40 places are available in total.  Each girl interested must complete the Summer Camp Request Form (please note, the medical exclusions list on the form) and either of the two consent forms, one for under 18s (parents to complete) and one for over 18s.  All forms must be returned to Army-in-education-ni@mod.gov.uk by 31st May 2024. This would be an ideal residential for girls completing their DofE Gold Award (only two girls per company can use for Dofe Resdiential).
• The Army Outreach Team have agreed on four different dates for their team to attend and set up an Elite Skills Academy Day catering for girls aged 8 and over only.  The Army can cater for up to 150 GB girls to attend on each date.    The Army will have its public liability to cover the arranged activities and full risk assessment carried out. Leader supervision is required at all times and poor behaviour will not be tolerated by the Outreach Team.  This will be on a first come first served basis.  GBNI day trip parental consent forms will need to be completed before participation.

1. Hosted by District 15 - 6th April at Templepatrick Presbyterian - Event is now over.
2. Hosted by District 6 - 20th April at Hillsborough Presbyterian - Event is now over.
3. Hosted by District 5 - 4th May at Annalong Presbyterian 
4. Hosted by District 13 - 18th May at Drumreagh Presbyterian
