Include Girls’ Brigade to your weekly prayer list. If you know of a local GB company, pray for its leaders and members that God will use them in a mighty way to serve the local community. Pray for spiritual growth, programme planning, recruitment of members, finances to support the company, and general safety of its members as they participate in GB activities.
If you have an interest in youth ministry, and if your local church has a GB company, enquire how you can help serve. Please note that all GB leaders are women, but men with a particular skill set can come into GB periodically; this can be organised by the GB leaders to help with topics such as self-defence classes, sports coaching, car maintenance, and taking Bible lessons.
If your local church is seeking to grow its youth ministry and has an aspiration to reach out to the local community, consider Girls’ Brigade as one of the best viable options. Look at the aims of your church alongside our core values and if you have a desire for Kingdom building, you will see that our ministry will most certainly align with your church’s. In Girls’ Brigade, we want our ministry to be a vital tool in helping churches grow their fellowship and strengthen their connection with the local community. Your donation can:
- Support a girl to attend GB for a year.
- Purchase a uniform for a girl in need.
- Cover the cost of the Scripture resources to enhance the girl’s Bible teaching.
- Contribute to the purchasing of craft resources to develop skills.
- Contribute to purchasing sports equipment, allowing full participation in GB activities.
Simply talk to the GB Captain on how you can make a one-time donation or set up a monthly standing order.
Your donation can contribute to:
- Purchasing resources for new GB start-ups.
- Purchasing recruitment packs that GB companies can use to promote and grow their company.
- Reducing the cost of printing of future programme resources that can be supplied free of charge to GB companies to enhance the girls’ learning.
- Purchasing equipment that can be hired free of charge to companies to enhance the girls’ learning.
- Covering the cost of a training workshop that will equip and develop our leaders.
