Attendance Awards

The Girls' Brigade annual session must be at least 26 weeks in duration. To gain an Attendance Award the following is required:
A total of 19 attendances at company meetings of Explorers including worship/spiritual sessions.
Girls joining when their 3rd birthday falls after 1st July can be awarded a Red Star for attendance, provided they have a minimum of 19 attendances at company meetings. They are not eligible for a 1st year Attendance Award.
A total of 22 attendances at company meetings, including company Bible class.
A total of 22 attendances at company meetings and attendance at Sunday worship (with consideration for those who are required to work on Sundays).
A girl who joins as a new member any time after age three commences with a one-year Attendance Award irrespective of the section of the company she enters on joining. Attendance Awards can be continued after a break from Brigade or after changing companies.
Attendance Awards are given to girls for 1-15 years of attendance. After 18 years of age, members who are not Commissioned Officers are called Associate Members and are eligible to receive attendance awards for 16-25 years of service.
Officers and Captain
A total of 22 attendances at company meetings and attendance at Sunday worship (with consideration for those who are required to work on Sundays).
Awards are worn on the pocket band of the ceremonial uniform and are awarded every five years up to 50 years of service.
Officers and Captains may wear their company Attendance Award until awarded the five-year Officer Award. An Officer who has not come up through the company will not receive or wear an Attendance Award until the five-year Officer Award is gained. Service Awards can be continued after a break from Brigade or after changing companies.
