Unfortunately, 2026 has brought its share of unexpected challenges, and uniform deliveries have been the latest to be affected.

Each year, the Shop Team works hard to plan and prepare well in advance to ensure company orders are processed and fulfilled as efficiently as possible. However, despite careful planning, unforeseen circumstances can sometimes disrupt even the best preparations.

As many of you are aware, there has been a delay in the arrival of tunics into GBNI, resulting in a number of companies waiting for stock. We were pleased to learn that the long-awaited shipment arrived today. However, on inspection, it was discovered that the consignment had been significantly damaged during transit, arriving damp and with an associated odour.

Claire is currently exploring a number of options with suppliers and carriers to resolve the situation as quickly as possible and minimise further delays. In the meantime, the Board would appreciate your patience and understanding while a solution is put in place.

We recognise the inconvenience this may cause and apologise for the delay. Unfortunately, this is an issue that could not reasonably have been anticipated, despite extensive planning and preparation.
