EA Volunteer Recognition and Awards “Worth their Weight in Gold”

6th November 2020

The Education Authority Youth Service have now opened nominations for this year’s Volunteer Recognition and Awards “Worth their Weight in Gold”.  These awards are to honour the work and service of your volunteers by formally recognising those who have excelled in their volunteering roles across a range of initiatives.

There are 6 Volunteer Awards that reflect the skills, experience and knowledge of EA Youth Service volunteers;

-          Dedication
-          Innovation
-          The Power of One
-          Self-Efficacy
-          Advocacy
-          Leadership

Due to Covid-19, the Volunteer Recognition and Awards will be celebrated throughout December using innovative ways as opposed to an event. The EA Youth Service will use social media to honour and recognise the work of all youth work volunteers across NI as well as celebrating the achievements of the winners of the 6 Volunteer Awards.

Keep your eye on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages to join in with the celebrations throughout December.
